Through MDE and Fremont Area Community Foundation funding, we were able to increase our literacy coaching across the county this year. Reading is the doorway to success, so helping children to read is essential. Every child should learn how to read.
Amanda Murray, Courtney Niblick, & Leslie Smith (NC RESA Lit Coaches) were joined by Therese Riddering (White Cloud), Haley Webb (Grant), Melissa Hreha (Newaygo), and Monica McAree (Hesperia) this week to learn from national leaders like Dr. Nell Duke on Literacy Essentials and coaching. This commitment to literacy from NC RESA and all local districts is leading to more children learning to read.
